Our Story

Shirley Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. has been family-owned and operated since 1956.  The company was started by Carl Shirley, the father of the now current owners Greg and Scott Shirley.  The brothers acquired the business in 1997 and have grown it to where it is today. 

The Shirley’s pride themselves on being a Trane Comfort Specialist Charter Member for 12 years and a recipient of the Trane Success Over All Resistance (S.O.A.R.) Dealer of the Year Award for 2006, 2007 and 2010.  In addition to these accolades, they strive to make a positive impression not only with their 3,000 plus customers but also in the community.  As active community members, the Shirley's have made multiple donations to the Saltsburg Borough for improvement projects. 

Greg and Scott Shirley believe in holding a high standard of workmanship.  This includes the ongoing training that the service technicians and installation staff complete.  Every year the Shirley staff receives a wide variety of training to gain the most up-to-date and proper ways to clean, service and install HVAC equipment and Generac generators.
